Sowcarpet, Chennai : Respect for culture is Respect for one's Rich heritage. Cultural values keeps the roots of the society with prosperity - by Sadhvi Dr. Mangalpragyaji.

In a workshop on "Jain Sanskar Vidhi - A Glorious Heritage" organized by TYP Chennai under the aegis of ABTYP , Sadhvi Shri further said that there are founding pillarsof Jainism - Sadhu, Sadhvi, Shravak, Shravika. Saints lead a spiritual life, their basic goal is to become self-oriented and inspire others to move forward on spritual path. The Shravak leads a household life, lives in the family-society. Any social functions of the householder's life should have a mark of their own culture. 

Acharya Shri Tulsi was a visionary. One Vision out of his various visions was the Jain Sanskar Vidhi (Rituals  as per Jainism). The society  should include Jain Sanskar in every social, religious and economic aspects.

Inspiring the august gathering Sadhvi Shriji said that Jain Sanskar Vidhi is a great tool to connect with culture and roots . Starting from Bhojrajji Sancheti of Momasar, today we have long list and group of Jain sanskaraks. Today in many social works are performed through or as per Jain Sanskar vidhi and the scope shall include even more untouched areas.

Deepawali Worship Demo by Jain Sanskar Vidhi

On this occasion, TYP Chennai has organised and conducted Diwali Poojan Demo as per Jain Sanskar Vidhi, it is performed by  Upasak Jain Sanskar Shri Padmachand Aanchaliya, Upasak Jain Sanskar Shri Swaroop Chand Dantee, Jain Sanskarak Shri Hanuman Sukhlecha, explaining the importance of Jain Sanskar vidhi. 

On this occasion Shri Gautamchand Daga, former president of ABTYP, shri Dilip Gelada, Shri. Komal Daga both Joint Secretary of TYP Chennai,  President of Terapanth Sabha Shri Ugamraj Saand, Joint Secretary of Jain Vishwa Bharati Shri Vimal Chippad, Chief Trustee of Triplicane Trust Board Mr. Suresh Sancheti, besides TYP members and Dignitaries were present. Manglacharan was performed by Shri Ashokji Lunavat with a song dedicated to Lord Mahaveer. "Bane Vardhman" Quiz Competition was also organized, in which almost everyone present participated. The vote of Thanks was given by TYP Chennai Secretary Sandeep Mutha. Vice President Santosh Sethia organised program for TYP Chennai.
